Extensive experience in the production of insulators

Pars Maghareh company, using the world’s latest technology in the production of toughened glass insulators, was the first producer of glass shell insulators in the Middle East, which not only makes the country unnecessary to import this product, but also The premium quality of its products has started to be exported and has solved the need of electricity transmission lines in the country.

The mechanical strength of the glass insulator is up to three times compared to the porcelain insulator

  • The ability to withstand mechanical pressure of glass is three times more than that of porcelain. Usually, the bearing capacity of porcelain mechanical pressure is considered to be around 70,000 Kg/cm².

  • The mechanical tensile strength of porcelain is around 500 Kg/cm², while the tensile strength of glass is close to 1200 Kg/cm².

The dielectric power (insulation) of the glass insulator is higher than that of the porcelain insulator

  • The dielectric strength of glass is much higher than porcelain and the electrical resistance of glass is around 250 Kv/cm, while the resistance of porcelain insulator is around 160 Kv/cm.

Other advantages of glass insulators over porcelain insulators

  • Glass insulators are three times more resistant to wear and aging than porcelain ones.

  • Unlike porcelain insulators, glass insulators shatter when punched, which makes troubleshooting much easier for the operator.

The cost-effectiveness of using glass insulators with advanced technology

The long life and high quality of glass insulators has reduced the need for transmission lines to replace insulators, which will save costs in the long run.
